Sherry Pepke Paintings on Display Now
Northwest award-winning artist Sherry Pepke is the featured artist for May at the Carpenter House Museum and Art Gallery. Pepke expresses her unique interpretations of nature in her paintings and print making in a variety of styles, using the mediums of watercolors, oils, acrylics and colored pencils. The end result is paintings with richly layered, textural surfaces. The public is invited to meet Sherry and see her awesome display of art all during the month of May, Fridays through Sundays, Noon to 4:00.
Sherry will be holding an artist’s reception on Sunday, May 6, 2-4 PM.
WRITE SPIRIT member Joanne Iverson shared some of her recent writing efforts at the May 4th Mother’s Tea held at the Swauk Teanaway Grange. Iverson, along with fellow members Virginia Depicolzuane, Bonnie Hawk, Pat Woodell, and leader Lyn Derrick, entertained the Mothers with their original and very clever writings. The WRITE SPIRIT group meets monthly at the Carpenter House Museum and Art Gallery.
Carpenter House Museum & Art Gallery is OPEN every Friday through Sunday, Noon to 4:00.
