Tonasket Sunset, acrylic, Jim SchleisHigh Country Artist JIM SCHLEIS has packed the first floor of the Carpenter Gallery with his stunning acrylic paintings for visitors to see all during the month of July.  Jim’s renditions of familiar sites are meticulous and breathtaking.  Do stop by and visit with Jim as he will be the house docent for the month.

Also on display at the Gallery’s third floor is a brand new historic display of early Cle Elum topics, such as Prohibition, Coal Mining, Education, Pioneers, Early Businesses, Red Light District, and others, as well as a special topic display of High Country Artists art depicting “Scenes in Kittitas County.”
